Whale shark discovered off the coast of Antigua

Stills from video shot by Roddy Grimes-Graeme with help from Eli Fuller & Greg Scott.

The big story (and i mean VERY BIG) out of Antigua this week was the sighting of a massive whale shark, the world's largest shark! YES, right here off the coast of our very own Antigua. The sighting was made by helicopter pilot Greg Scott of Caribbean Helicopters, who promptly fed GPS coordinates to Adventure Antigua's Eli Fuller. Quickly, Eli and crew powered out to the location and sure enough, it was there. Wasting no time, camerman Roddy Grimes-Graeme of AcquaFilms was literally swimming with the sharks. His breath-taking footage can be viewed on this page, to the right.

Eli tells the story best. It can be read here on his blog, here. Kudos to team effort for bringing us this exciting discovery.
